ReBoost third-party software licenses

ReBoost (original work, Copyright (c) 2026 John Carlo Amog) is built
with the following components. They remain under their own copyrights
and licenses; nothing in ReBoost's own license transfers or modifies
these terms. Their required notices are reproduced here.

1. Python 3.12

From python.org. License: Python Software Foundation License
(PSF-2.0). Bundled as part of the frozen application runtime.

PYTHON SOFTWARE FOUNDATION LICENSE VERSION 2

1. This LICENSE AGREEMENT is between the Python Software Foundation
("PSF"), and the Individual or Organization ("Licensee") accessing and
otherwise using this software ("Python") in source or binary form and
its associated documentation.

2. Subject to the terms and conditions of this License Agreement, PSF
hereby grants Licensee a nonexclusive, royalty-free, world-wide
license to reproduce, analyze, test, perform and/or display publicly,
prepare derivative works, distribute, and otherwise use Python alone
or in any derivative version, provided, however, that PSF's License
Agreement and PSF's notice of copyright, i.e., "Copyright (c)
2001-2025 Python Software Foundation; All Rights Reserved" are
retained in Python alone or in any derivative version prepared by
Licensee.

3. In the event Licensee prepares a derivative work that is based on
or incorporates Python or any part thereof, and wants to make the
derivative work available to others as provided herein, then Licensee
hereby agrees to include in any such work a brief summary of the
changes made to Python.

4. PSF is making Python available to Licensee on an "AS IS" basis.
PSF MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. BY
WAY OF EXAMPLE, BUT NOT LIMITATION, PSF MAKES NO AND DISCLAIMS ANY
REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY
PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR THAT THE USE OF PYTHON WILL NOT INFRINGE ANY
THIRD PARTY RIGHTS.

5. PSF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO LICENSEE OR ANY OTHER USERS OF PYTHON
FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSS AS A
RESULT OF MODIFYING, DISTRIBUTING, OR OTHERWISE USING PYTHON, OR ANY
DERIVATIVE THEREOF, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY THEREOF.

6. This License Agreement will automatically terminate upon a material
breach of its terms and conditions.

7. Nothing in this License Agreement shall be deemed to create any
relationship of agency, partnership, or joint venture between PSF and
Licensee. This License Agreement does not grant permission to use PSF
trademarks or trade name in a trademark sense to endorse or promote
products or services of Licensee, or any third party.

8. By copying, installing or otherwise using Python, Licensee agrees
to be bound by the terms and conditions of this License Agreement.

2. wxWidgets 3.3 / wxPython 4.3

From wxwidgets.org and wxpython.org. License: wxWindows Library
Licence 3.1 (GNU Library General Public Licence with an additional
exception permitting binary distribution together with applications).

EXCEPTION NOTICE (wxWindows Library Licence addendum)

1. As a special exception, the copyright holders of this library give
permission for additional uses of the text contained in this release
of the library. The exception is that, if you link the library with
other files to produce an executable, this does not by itself cause
the resulting executable to be covered by the GNU Library General
Public Licence. Your use of that executable is in no way restricted
on account of linking the library code into it.

2. This exception does not however invalidate any other reasons why
the executable file might be covered by the GNU Library General
Public Licence.

3. This exception applies only to the code released by the copyright
holders under the name wxWidgets.

3. psutil 7.x

From github.com/giampaolo/psutil. License: BSD 3-Clause. Used for
process detection (running-browser detection during cleanup).

INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING,
BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES; LOSS
OF USE, DATA, OR PROFITS; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION) HOWEVER CAUSED
AND ON ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, STRICT
LIABILITY, OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE) ARISING IN ANY
WAY OUT OF THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE
POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

4. PyInstaller 6.x

From pyinstaller.org. License: GPL-2.0-or-later with the PyInstaller
bootloader exception, which explicitly allows programs created with
PyInstaller (such as ReBoost.exe) to be distributed without GPL
requirements. PyInstaller is a build-time tool only; its code is not
part of the running application.

5. Microsoft Windows components

ReBoost invokes Windows' own supported maintenance tools (sfc.exe,
Dism.exe, chkdsk.exe, powercfg.exe, Optimize-Volume,
Get-ScheduledTask, Get-Service). These remain Microsoft Corporation
products, used here through their documented command-line interfaces.
ReBoost is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.

6. pywin32 312 (win32com)

From github.com/mhammond/pywin32. License: Python Software Foundation
License (PSF-2.0 style, identical to the PSF license above).
Used for the Windows Update Agent COM API (update search and
installation through the supported Microsoft.Update.Session
interface). Pywin32 is optional at runtime: when it is absent,
ReBoost reports that updates could not be installed instead of
failing dishonestly.

7. NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access)

NVDA was used to test ReBoost's accessibility. NVDA is developed by
NV Access and the NVDA community under the GNU General Public
License. NVDA is not bundled with, distributed by, or part of
ReBoost; it is independent testing and assistive software owned by
its authors.

All other code and materials in ReBoost are the original work of its
